What is important for you to know about this position?

  • Annual contract

  • The salary indication depends on your knowledge and experience, this function falls in function scale VII of the Horeca cao.

What is important to know about this feature?
The team consists of a front office manager, supervisor, (night) receptionists, (night) porters and trainees where you as front office manager manage the team. In this versatile function you are responsible for the operation at the reception. You take the lead in the operation, you keep the overall overview and inspire the team with your entrepreneurial spirit and strive for the highest guest satisfaction. In addition, you select potential new colleagues for the Front Office team, you are responsible for training and coaching and you ensure the right staffing on the floor. You also show initiative and come up with proposals. You work alternating morning, evening and night shifts. The Hotel Manager/ Director of Operations is your coach and helps you to develop further.

Who are we looking for?

  • You speak English, Dutch is an advantage, but not a must.

  • Knowledge of a hotel reservation system is an advantage, we work with Protel.

  • You can keep an overview and adjust the schedule if necessary

  • You are able to manage the team in a pleasant and coaching way 

  • You have a sense of responsibility, are proactive and stress resistant 

  • Minimum MBO work and thinking level
