The hospitality group Aeon Plaza Hotels consists of two four-star hotels and one three-star hotel.

The historic Hotel Die Port van Cleve, located behind the Royal Palace on Dam Square, is a household name in Amsterdam. The hotel's colorful history dates back to 1864, when Heineken started its first brewery there.

Dutch Design Hotel Artemis is a dynamic 4-star hotel located on the ring road of Amsterdam. The decor of the hotel is inspired by Dutch Design. In addition to its own collection, a changing exhibition of design and art is organized every 4 months.

Dutch Design Hotel Vondelpark is a small-scale residency located at the Vondelpark in beautiful Amsterdam West. This hotel also features a decor inspired by Dutch Design.

The Business Development department, which includes revenue, of the Aeon Plaza Hotels hotel group carries out its activities for Dutch Design Hotel Artemis, Hotel Die Port van Cleve and Dutch Design Hotel Vondelpark.

What is important to know about this feature?

The senior revenue manager is responsible for optimizing the total revenue of all 3 hotels using various systems. You think in numbers, you see opportunities to further increase turnover, and because of your curiosity you have our pricing policy under control. Forecast, booking pace, length of stay, restrictions, P&L, and budget are your favourite terms. Together with the revenue coordinator, you are the revenue team that together with marketing, sales, communication, account management and reservations form the Business Development department.

Who are we looking for?​

  • You preferably have a completed education at HBO level, but at least an MBO education with HBO thinking level;

  • You have experience in / knowledge of the field of revenue management;

  • Experience with a revenue management systems is an advantage;

  • Work experience within the hospitality industry is an advantage;

  • You work independently, are curious and accurate;

  • You are proactive and analytical;

  • You are a real numbers person;

  • You master the English language in word & writing, Dutch is an advantage.

  • You are representative and enthusiastic, you have a positive attitude and perseverance;

  • You have good communication and social skills
