We use modern techniques, such as a digital key on the guests phone, to ensure that the stay is comfortable and memorable. From the backwall art to the lights in the stairway, every element has been carfully selected to come together as a whole in this contemporary Dutch Design Hotel.

What is important to know about this feature?
Guests are kindly welcomed & checked in, you will therefore also support the reception a lot, of course you have the most modern techniques at your disposal. In the morning breakfast is served, during the day guests can drink a cup of coffee in the breakfast room. You enjoy giving (mainly tourist) guests tips of, among other things, nice sights and restaurants and you ensure that everything runs smoothly when you are on shift.
As the Residence Manager you coordinate the work activities within the hotel and you are jointly responsible for the introduction, training and coaching of the employees. You identify where improvements can still be made in work processes and how the service level can be increased. Of course you will receive support from Human Resources, Business Development, Accounting and Technical Services departments from Aeon Plaza Hotels!
Who are we looking for?

You speak English, other languages are an advantage, but not a must.

You have at least 1 year of experience as a manager, preferably in the hotel business

You work independently, are pro-active and take initiative

A guest-oriented attitude towards our guests and a coaching & motivating attitude towards our employees

Further tasks of the Residence Manager are:

Oversee short, medium and long term planning

Increasing and guaranteeing the desired service level

Budget responsibleEnsuring compliance with procedures, issuing instructions and taking the initiative to improve these procedures and instructions

Proactively prevent and actively respond to possible incidents, complaints and calamities, in accordance with the guidelines of Aeon Plaza Hotels

Personnel policy; including deployment based on personnel budget, recruitment & selection, personnel changes, review interviewsEnsure adequate internal control

The Residence Manager functions independently and reports directly to the Director of Operations of Aeon Plaza Hotels.
