Hotel Die Port van Cleve is an authentic and historic Dutch hotel, located in a monumental building where Heineken once started its first brewery! The hotel has 122 rooms, Restaurant Hulsher's (world famous for its numbered steaks served since 1870, each with its own unique number), Bar and Bodega de Blauwe Parade (for gin and liqueur tastings, and much more) and the Brewery Club, a meeting capacity for 2-50 people. From the lobby to the rooms, signs of Delftware and Dutch history can be found in all shapes and forms.

What is important to know about this feature?
The team consists of a Chef, Sous chef, Chef de Partis, breakfast chefs, apprentice chefs and dishwashers. In this versatile cooperating position you manage the kitchen team, you are responsible in shifts for distributing the dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, parties and drinks. You take the lead in the operation, you maintain the total overview and you inspire the team with your entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. In addition, you ensure that everything complies with the HACCP rules, you ensure the correct occupation of the floor, show your initiative and come up with proposals. Together with your team, you provide creative dishes on the menu that match the concept. You report directly to the hotel manager and he coaches you and helps you to develop further.
