What is important to know about this job?
The team consists of a Front Office Manager, supervisors, (night) receptionists, and interns. You and the team are the first point of contact for our guests. You support the Front Office Manager in coordinating the activities within the department and you are jointly responsible for the introduction, training and coaching of the employees. You identify where improvements can still be made in working methods/procedures and you come up with a plan for this. You also ensure that all Front Office activities are carried out in accordance with the guidelines and you increase and guarantee the desired service level. Of course you also carry out all common reception activities yourself. The Front Office Manager is your coach and helps you to develop further.
Who are we looking for?
You speak English, Dutch is an advantage, but not a must.
Knowledge of a hotel reservation system is an advantage, we work with Protel.
You have a sense of responsibility, are proactive and stress resistant.
You work independently and take initiatives.
You are flexible, collegial and guest-oriented; you have the desire to provide optimal service, sometimes this is custom work.
