The relatively young ‘Aeon Plaza Hotels’ enterprise is made up of two four star hotels, the successful Hotel ‘Die Port van Cleve’ and the new Hotel Artemis Amsterdam, open since May 2005. The historic Hotel ‘Die Port van Cleve’, next to the Royal Palace, is almost an institution in Amsterdam.
The initiative to formulate the themes ‘Holland’ and ‘Dutch Design’ in a timeless and surprising environment has resulted in the new Hotel Artemis Amsterdam, situated closely to the Amsterdam Ring road.
‘ Aeon’ was a logical choice of name for the new enterprise. Aeon is a mythological figure who represents immortality and the strive for perfection.
